São Sebastião Museum

This old fortress located in the harbor of São Tomé is now used as a museum and hosts a religious art collection and artifacts from the colonial times. One of the strangest things is the remains of one of the cacao kings stored in a box under his painting.

From the roof of the museum you have a good view over the ocean and the light house is still in use today.
